My name is John Aguirre, and I am a Christian author devoted to pointing people to the hope, grace, and redemption found in Jesus Christ. My journey as a writer began with a simple conviction: every moment matters, and eternity is too important to ignore. The stories and devotionals I create are not just books—they are invitations. Invitations to reflect on your walk with God, to wrestle with eternal truths, and to experience the love of Christ in a fresh and personal way. Beyond writing, I also serve as a Christian marriage coach, co-manage the ministry site IWantToGetSaved.com with my son Matt, and enjoy woodworking through Faith & Freedom Woodworks.

Why I Write

For years, I carried a burden on my heart to share the message of salvation and to encourage believers to live boldly for Christ. Writing became my way of doing that. Through stories, reflections, and biblical encouragement, I aim to stir hearts and remind readers of what matters most. I don’t write for fame, recognition, or sales—I write for one reason: to glorify God. My journey as a writer began with a simple conviction: eternity is real, and every moment matters. The stories and devotionals I create are not just books—they are invitations. Invitations to reflect on your walk with God, wrestle with eternal truths, and encounter the love of Christ in a fresh and personal way.

I didn’t always know the saving grace of Christ personally. For years, I wrestled with questions of faith, sin, and eternity. But God, in His mercy, opened my eyes to the truth of the Gospel. The day I gave my life to Jesus changed everything—my priorities, my purpose, and my future. That’s why I write today. Every page I put down is rooted in the hope that others will come to know the same freedom, forgiveness, and joy that I found in Christ. My testimony is not just a part of my past; it’s the reason I wake up every morning determined to write for His glory.

My Mission

At Written for His Glory, our mission is to glorify God through the written word. We believe that books and stories have the power to inspire faith, spark transformation, and point people to the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ. Every page we publish is guided by three convictions: Truth matters — God’s Word is living and active, and we seek to reflect that truth faithfully. Every story has purpose — Testimonies and devotionals can encourage, convict, and lead hearts closer to Christ. Eternity is real — Our writing is a call to live with eternity in mind and to share the Gospel boldly. Our prayer is that everything produced through Written for His Glory serves as both encouragement and a wake-up call—reminding readers that life is short, God’s love is great, and His grace is available to all who believe.

  • Co-founding and managing IWantToGetSaved.com, with my son, Matt, to share the Gospel and provide resources for those seeking salvation.
  • Expressing creativity and craftsmanship through woodworking at Faith & Freedom Woodworks, blending faith & Freedom through handmade design.
